The Attractiveness and Practicality of Mini Face Lift

mini face liftThis is the era of plastic surgeries and face lifts. It seems that vanity is a major part of lives particularly of aging men and women. It is now very common to undergo major facelift surgical procedures. Because many people are just too busy and are starting to become budget conscious, mini face lifts have emerged.

Mini face lift, also called weekend face lift, is a new technique in aesthetic surgical procedures. It could be performed immediately. Patients are raving about the faster and shorter recovery period required as compared to conventional facelift surgery. This is the reason why it is called ‘weekend face lift’—a patient could undergo the mini face lift  procedure one weekend and return to work on the following weekday without the hassles of fresh surgery.

One of its main differences compared to traditional face lift is that it focuses mostly on specific facial areas, including the folds of the nose, the sides of mouth and eyes, and the neck. Mini facelift is also characterized by much smaller incisions, which frequently takes advantage of the so-called endoscopic facelift technology, repositions, cosmetic surgeon lifts, and facial tissue removal. Thus, optimal results are attained.

Who usually gets mini face lift surgeries?

Such procedures are for everyone. However, based on records, most patients are between 30 years to 50 years old. Mini face lift is recommended to individuals who are just starting to experience and feel initial signs of aging. This is also best for those who are not willing or afraid to undergo the more intensive cosmetic surgeries. Usually, patients just intend to eliminate minor drooping or sagging of skin surrounding the jowls, the cheeks, and the neck. Lower facelifts are also made part of the options for mini facelifts.

Like in conventional facelift surgery, mini face lift is best for patients who aim to enhance their physical appearance through reducing wrinkles and skin sagging throughout the face. The procedure is specifically ideal for people who like to eliminate or trim droopiness and sagging of skin around specific or highly targeted facial areas. It has its own limitations, though. In particular, mini facelift is not for aging problems around the brows and forehead. If you need to eliminate wrinkles in those areas, conventional cosmetic surgeries should be taken.

How Invasive Is Mini Face Lift?

As mentioned, due to small scale surgical operations, incisions could be quite smaller. Thus, the surgical procedure is now considered as among the least invasive facial surgery procedures. Surgeons could use endoscopic procedures, wherein small surgical instruments would be inserted into the small incisions produced. This is common for fat removal and for reshaping of facial muscles. Scarring is ruled out as the incisions are so small, no one could ever take notice.

As for the tag price, mini facelifts are commanding much smaller costs. This could be one of the main reasons why the procedures to attract more patients. The invasive procedure is very minor that most of the time, less anesthesia is required. Patients could usually go home right after the mini face lift surgical procedure.
